As for why “non select” and “high maintenance” and “insecure, jealous” guys might act as such, perhaps you should look at your own conduct.
Do you care enough about them to modify your conduct so as to be in and keep the relationship going? Are you willing to, you know, actually do things to show him you give a fuck? Are you willing to, you know, COMPROMISE?
Did it occur to you that your hanging with slutty girlfriends is a red flag to guys (because we all know that a girl who has slutty friends is herself probably a slut and possibly cheating)?
