I see what you mean, but I think Moxie just feels that the OP should know better because she’s already in her 30′s and ostensibly has more experience than the guy.

I disagree with the notion that no woman respects younger men (though i see your point re moxies post). I had an fwb situation with someone for 1.5 years (maybe longer, i don’t remember). He is such a fun, intelligent person; i will always remember him fondly. I never had any problems either… but then again, i always felt that being almost 15 years older, I felt it was my duty to “lead” things in suvh a way that worked well for us both. And i did, and it was great. To me, this is where the op went wrong. She’s not a leader, she’s a follower. Older men lead when they dally with younger women; older women must do the same.
